Self-care can be a dedicated cup of tea (without catching up on social media), a quiet few minutes of meditation, reading a poem, enjoying a laugh alone or with a friend, nurturing a potted plant (hands in dirt is very therapeutic), closing eyes for a cat-nap, etc., etc. Endless distractions surround us.
